A club with more than 30 years of history and over 120 members. Andorra Hoquei Gel continues to grow and evolve with the goal of promoting this sport both within and beyond the Principality of Andorra.

The club was originally formed by members of the management board of the Palau de Gel d’Andorra and by members of the Palau itself. The first president was Mr. Miquel Naudí until 1997. Around 70 people attended the first meeting, chaired by Mr. Miquel Casal Casal, Mr. Xavier Jordana Rossell, Mr. François Souqué, and Mr. Emili Córcoles Martí, representing the founding group, with the special attendance of the Director of the Department of Sports and Tourism, Mr. Sergi Nadal.

The initial goal of the club was to teach children, young people, and anyone interested in learning and practicing this sport.
